Hojlund may leave MU. |
According to Sky Sports , the "Rossoneri" have contacted MU in the past 24 hours to inquire about the possibility of recruiting Hojlund. Milan are looking for a strong central striker to serve the tactics of coach Max Allegri, and Hojlund is considered an ideal choice.
However, a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season is likely to help Hojlund regain his form and provide a much-needed boost to Milan's attack.
Milan are currently lacking options in the center forward position. Santiago Gimenez alone is not enough for the club to compete in many different arenas.
Hojlund spent the season in Serie A with Atalanta, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists. He joined MU for 77.8 million euros in the summer of 2023.
At Old Trafford, Hojlund struggled to establish himself. Last season, he played 52 times but scored only 10 goals and contributed 4 assists, a result that did not meet expectations.
Before Milan, Inter had pursued Hojlund but quickly withdrew. Coach Cristian Chivu decided to switch to recruiting striker Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma, while also putting his faith in young player Pio Esposito.
