Long An: Planning route of Ring Road 4 and Provincial Road 827E through My Loc commune

According to the land use planning until 2030 of Can Giuoc district, My Loc commune will be the place where two key traffic routes pass through, including Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 and Provincial Road 827E, opening up new connection potential for the area.

Location and planning overview

My Loc commune is an administrative unit of Can Giuoc district, Long An province. In terms of geographical location, My Loc commune is adjacent to the following neighboring areas:

  • North: bordering Phuoc Ly and Hung Long communes and Can Giuoc town.
  • East: bordering Can Giuoc town and Phuoc Vinh Tay commune.
  • South: bordering Phuoc Vinh Tay and My Le communes.
  • West: bordering My Le, Rach Kien and Phuoc Ly communes.

According to the adjusted land use planning map to 2030 of Can Giuoc district, Long An province, My Loc commune is oriented to develop many important traffic infrastructures, notably two major roads that will be formed in the future.

1. Provincial Road 827E (National Highway 50B)

One of the planned arterial roads is Provincial Road 827E, also known as National Highway 50B. The section passing through My Loc commune has an estimated length of about 9.2 km.

According to the planning map, this route starts in the north, crossing the Can Giuoc River near Rach Cong Temple, and ends near Giac Tinh Pagoda. This route is expected to enhance inter-regional connectivity, promoting local socio -economic development.

2. Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4

The second important route is part of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project. The section passing through My Loc commune is about 3.2 km long.

This route is planned to run perpendicular to Provincial Road 827E. The route starts from National Highway 50 and ends at Provincial Road 830. When completed, Ring Road 4 will create a synchronous traffic network, connecting Long An with Ho Chi Minh City and provinces in the Southern Key Economic Zone.
