Long An saves more than 16.9 million kWh of electricity in the first two months of the year

Long An saved nearly 17 million kWh of electricity in the first two months of 2025, equivalent to 2.8% of total commercial electricity output, thanks to measures to use electricity efficiently in production and daily life.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An, in the first two months of 2025, the province has implemented many electricity saving solutions in the fields of production, services and daily life, helping to save nearly 17 million kWh of electricity, reaching 2.8% of the total commercial electricity output.

Of which, the highest rate of saving in public lighting was 0.717 million kWh, reaching more than 32%, followed by the administrative sector saving 0.227 million kWh, reaching 5.6%... In addition, the province also promoted the use of renewable energy with a total solar power output of 90 million kWh. Of which, solar power plants generated more than 50 million kWh, the rest was rooftop solar power.

Saving electricity not only helps reduce costs for businesses and people, but also contributes to ensuring a stable energy supply for production and life.
