Advanced Political Theory Class K72.A09 returns to its source in Tan Trao.

On January 24th, the delegation from the Advanced Political Theory Class K72.A09 of the Regional Political Academy 1 organized a trip to visit historical sites in Tan Trao commune (Tuyen Quang province).

The delegation visited Lán Nà Nưa, where President Ho Chi Minh stayed and worked from the end of May 1945 to August 22, 1945, to prepare for and lead the August 1945 General Uprising. In this small, simple hut, many documents, directives, policies, and plans related to the August 1945 Revolution were drafted by President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation offered incense at Tan Trao Temple.

Visit the Tan Trao banyan tree – one of the symbols of the revolutionary homeland of Tan Trao. Under this banyan tree, on the afternoon of August 16, 1945, General Vo Nguyen Giap read Military Order No. 1, officially launching the General Uprising to seize power throughout the country. Immediately afterwards, the Vietnam Liberation Army held a departure ceremony in the presence of the people of Tan Trao commune and 60 national delegates attending the National Congress.

The delegation visited Tan Trao communal house in Tan Lap village, Tan Trao commune, the site of the National Congress - a momentous historical event that laid the groundwork for the success of the August Revolution; and offered incense at the Memorial Area for revolutionary predecessors, part of the Tan Trao Special National Historical Site.

The "Journey to the Roots" trip of the K72.A09 Advanced Political Theory class of the Regional Political Academy 1 has practical significance in raising students' awareness of national pride, the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," and the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy. At the same time, the trip also contributes to strengthening exchanges and solidarity among students in the class, creating motivation for each student to strive and continuously work hard in their studies and training at the school named after the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
