The competition was lively, with over 50 teams participating, ranging from units on the mainland of the brigade to those on the islands of Truong Sa. Each team wrapped 20 banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) within 60 minutes, using carefully prepared traditional ingredients.

The competition is one of the practical and meaningful activities organized by the brigade every Lunar New Year to educate officers and soldiers on preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the nation; and at the same time contribute to strengthening solidarity and close ties among soldiers in the unit, and between the military and civilians on the islands.
* On the same day, Brigade 146 organized a competition to judge the "Spring Welcome Room" entries from various agencies and units. The competition aimed to encourage, reward, and promote creative ideas, contributing to the preservation of traditional cultural values and creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere within the unit.
