Brigade 955 organized many activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

On the morning of February 17th (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Brigade 955, Region 4 of the Navy, organized activities to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year in a joyful, enthusiastic, and safe atmosphere for its officers and soldiers.

Officers and soldiers of the brigade participate in a tug-of-war competition.

Following the flag-raising ceremony, the brigade commander presented awards to the teams and individuals who achieved high results in the spring camp competition, making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), creating wall newspapers, and designing spring-themed rooms... At the same time, folk games were organized, creating a lively and united atmosphere right from the first days of the new spring.

Alongside the spring festivities, the brigade strictly maintained combat readiness; organized patrols and guard duties according to regulations; and closely monitored the situation in the assigned sea area, preventing any passive or unexpected situations. Logistical and technical support was ensured fully and promptly; the material and spiritual well-being of the soldiers was carefully taken care of, especially those on duty during Tet away from their families.

Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Son, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Brigade, stated that through activities celebrating the Lunar New Year, the Brigade has contributed to educating officers and soldiers to have a deeper understanding of the traditions and significance of the traditional Tet holiday; at the same time, it has enhanced their cultural and spiritual lives, created a vibrant atmosphere of emulation from the very first days of the new year, and encouraged officers and soldiers to continue striving, training, and resolutely fulfilling the task of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
