At schools: Dien Khanh Vocational College, Dien Khanh Primary School, Dien Phu Primary School, the Provincial Tropical Diseases Hospital, Dien Khanh Commune People's Committee..., thick layers of mud stuck to tables, chairs, cabinets, classrooms, and schoolyards. Officers and soldiers of Brigade 957, along with teachers, staff, and local organizations diligently cleaned up every item, meticulously scrubbed every cup and table, and dredged mud from the floors and grounds. Thanks to the division of working groups, especially in key areas, the recovery work was carried out quickly, helping some commune People's Committee headquarters, schools, and medical stations to soon resume operations. Many schools that were deeply flooded with 20-30cm thick layers of mud were cleared, returning the space to safety, preparing for students and teachers to return to class soon. Soldier Tang Ngoc Tai - Company 1, Battalion 5, Brigade 957 shared: “The floods caused too much damage. When entering schools, medical stations, commune headquarters, and people's houses, seeing everything in disarray and the huge amount of work, sometimes we don't know where to start. Thanks to the direction of our superiors, we divided into groups, each person with a task, always trying to do it as quickly as possible, but still being careful not to damage the property of agencies and people."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Principal of Dien Khanh 2 Town Primary School emotionally said: “When the water just receded, the scene before our eyes made teachers feel sad. The school yard was covered with mud, everything was in disarray, many items were severely damaged. There were times when we felt helpless, not knowing where to start. However, the timely presence of officers and soldiers of Brigade 957 became a great source of encouragement, giving the school more strength to overcome difficulties. With the joint efforts of the forces and teachers, the cleaning work was urgently deployed. Each classroom, equipment, and corridor were cleaned up. Up to now, the school has basically stabilized, ready to welcome students back."

During the mission, in some remote areas that were still deeply flooded, the roads were slippery, making it difficult for civilian vehicles to travel and access, especially charity groups. Brigade 957 used specialized vehicles to transport relief goods to each household, ensuring that all gifts reached the right recipients. At the same time, the brigade also supported people in reinforcing their houses, moving belongings, and bracing public works to cope with storm No. 15.

Spreading meaningful gifts
After the days of flood and rain, while the direct forces of Brigade 957 were still tirelessly supporting people in the field, another warm atmosphere was also taking place in the unit's campus. In the large kitchen, in the living room and under the windy eaves, cadres, women's union members, union members and youth of the brigade were busy distributing each gift. Some cherished the bottles of water, some checked the bags of rice, some carefully put milk cartons and bread into each basket... Everything happened quietly but responsibly as a way to express the soldiers' sharing with the people in the flooded areas. The hands still imprinted with mud after the morning cleanup continued to quickly pack in the afternoon, because everyone understood that there were still many families out there lacking drinking water, lacking food, lacking a gift to keep them strong in the difficult days.
