Floodwaters on the Cai River in Nha Trang are receding.

According to the 7 PM bulletin on November 17th from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, floodwaters on the Cai Nha Trang River are currently receding rapidly. At 7 PM, water levels at the stations were as follows: Dong Trang Hydrological Station: 9.27m (0.23m below alarm level 2); Dien Phu Station: 6.05m (0.55m above alarm level 3). On the Dinh Ninh Hoa River, at 7 PM, the water level at Ninh Hoa Station reached 5.22m (0.22m above alarm level 2).

On the Cai Phan Rang River, floodwaters are receding slowly. At 7 PM, water levels at the stations were as follows: Tan My hydrological station: 37.16m (0.34m below alarm level 3); Phan Rang station: 4.45m (0.05m below alarm level 3).

On the night of November 17th, moderate to heavy rain continued throughout the province. Rainfall amounts generally ranged from 30 to 50 mm. Forecasts indicate that over the next 12 hours, flood levels on the Cai Nha Trang River at the Dong Trang and Dien Phu hydrological stations will continue to recede slowly; at the Dien Phu station, flood warning level 3 will remain in effect for the next few hours. Other rivers and streams in the province are likely to maintain flood levels at flood warning level 2.
