
In the spirit of serving the people, the Director of Da Nang City Police Department issued Official Dispatch No. 2224 on focusing on emergency response and overcoming the consequences of recent storms and heavy rains and floods in the city.
On November 11, the Youth Union and Women's Union of Detention Camp No. 2, City Police organized a charity activity in Ha Nhuan village, Nam Phuoc commune. Thereby, it aimed to strengthen solidarity, consolidate and improve the quality of the Youth Union and Association organization in the unit; at the same time, contribute to supporting people to stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Nho Tam, Warden of Detention Camp No. 2 of Da Nang City Police, said that the environment after the flood can easily affect people's health. Accordingly, the unit's leaders assigned the Youth Union and Women's Union to organize this meaningful program.
Specifically, the team of doctors at the Infirmary of Detention Camp No. 2 examined and provided free medicine to 50 elderly people, people in difficult circumstances, and policy families in Ha Nhuan village, Nam Phuoc commune, mainly for common upper respiratory diseases and diseases arising after floods. At the same time, chemicals were sprayed to disinfect the environment to prevent the outbreak of epidemics such as dengue fever...
"This activity demonstrates the spirit of serving the people of the police force of Detention Camp No. 2 of the City Police, while strengthening solidarity and contributing to encouraging people to overcome difficulties after the flood," said Lieutenant Colonel Le Nho Tam.
* On the morning of November 11, Thang Binh Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police coordinated with the Central Outlander Family Club to organize a gift-giving program to support students in flood-affected areas at Que Xuan Secondary School (Xuan Phu Commune).
The delegation presented 40 gifts including notebooks and cash to students in difficult circumstances, affected by the recent floods. Although the gifts were small, they showed the spirit of sharing and helping each other, helping the children overcome difficulties and continue their studies.
A representative of Thang Binh Traffic Police Station said that this activity is part of a series of social security activities, demonstrating the sense of responsibility for the community of traffic police officers and soldiers in addition to the task of ensuring traffic order and safety in the area.
