On the afternoon of December 1, Mr. Pham Van Long - Principal of Hanoi College of Tourism - had a direct dialogue with about 400 students to resolve the problem of paying allowances for nearly 1,000 students of the school to participate in A80 training.
After the principal finished the dialogue, the students received notice of the schedule change.
After the dialogue between the Principal of Hanoi College of Tourism and students at noon on December 1 about paying for A80 training, many students expressed surprise because they did not receive any information about the school changing the dialogue from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.
"I was still sure that the school would open the dialogue at 2:00 p.m. It wasn't until 1:32 p.m. that the teacher texted the class group that the dialogue had been moved to 11:00 a.m. We only found out after the dialogue was over," student T. shared with Tuoi Tre Online .
Many readers of Tuoi Tre Online newspaper also expressed their concern about why the school suddenly changed the dialogue time without notifying all the students involved.
"It is regrettable that the school suddenly changed the dialogue time from afternoon to noon, making it impossible for many students to participate. The dialogue lost its meaning when it could not gather a large number of related students," reader Hoai Nam expressed.

Reader Khang Uy wondered why the school did not write the amount directly on the receipt, and also said that if the school planned to pay students in two installments, it should clearly show the amount of each installment on the receipt. This would help make the payment process more transparent.
"The school said there would be a second round of money, but they did not notify the students beforehand. When the students asked, they said... there would be a second round. If the students did not ask, would the school have a second round?", reader Khang Uy asked.
Sharing the same opinion, reader Hoai Bao said that it is unacceptable for schools to pay students in two installments without clear notification.

After an unexpected dialogue with students, Hanoi College of Tourism officially announced specific information about the amount of money that nearly 1,000 students of the school received when participating in the art block at the A80 event.
Specifically, students of the school participating in 17 sessions will be supported with 60,000 VND/session, 3 preliminary and final rehearsal sessions will be 180,000 VND/session, 2 official sessions will be 200,000 VND/session. The total compensation for a student is 1,960,000 VND.
According to the school, during the training period, the school advanced the meal money for the participating students for 11 days, 40,000 VND per day (1 main meal + 1 snack). Total meal money was 440,000 VND/student.
