At a press conference on the morning of July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, singer Jack (J97) shared his emotional thoughts about his personal financial situation. Despite being a famous artist with many hit songs, the male singer revealed that he only owns one car, which his mother paid for in installments.

This car is also the asset that singer Jack brought back to his hometown after leaving his old management company. The singer also admitted, "I had to bring my only car so my mother could help pay off the debt."

Many people believe that the car Jack mentioned is the 2019 Honda Civic that he bought on installments in May 2019, the time the hit Bac Phan was released, and the upgraded Civic version was also launched in Vietnam.

Although not a luxury sedan, Jack's Honda Civic G is also a C-segment car, with the most expensive price in the segment in the Vietnamese market compared to its competitors.

The 2019 Honda Civic is the first generation to add a sporty RS version, attracting many young people thanks to its luxurious, powerful design and many modern features. The exterior stands out with a matte black grille, sturdy 18-inch wheels and a sporty spoiler.

The car is also equipped with modern technology such as remote key start, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, features rarely seen in C-class sedans at that time. The highest-end RS version is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine, 170 horsepower and 220 Nm of maximum torque, with a CVT gearbox.

However, according to the images that this singer has posted, Jack's Honda Civic belongs to the G version with a more gentle and neutral appearance, the sporty details are also removed. In addition, the engine configuration is also lower when only equipped with a 1.8L gasoline engine for a capacity of 141 horsepower.

At that time, the price of Honda Civic 2019 ranged from 729 to 934 million VND, the highest in the C-class sedan segment. Compared to contemporary competitors such as Toyota Corolla Altis, Mazda3, Kia K3, Hyundai Elantra or MG5, Civic is always highly appreciated for its sporty design and driving feel.

Currently, the Honda Civic sedan has entered a new generation with upgrades in technology and performance. The 2025 Civic is priced from 789 to 889 million VND for gasoline versions, while the hybrid version is up to 999 million VND.

Despite fierce competition with Toyota Corolla Altis, Mazda3 or Kia K3 in the Vietnamese market, Honda Civic still maintains its sporty style and popular performance.
