Lam Dong - At the Cherry Blossom Festival, locals and tourists can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Cau Dat tea hills, which have a history of over 100 years, covered in the pink blossoms of cherry trees.

On January 11th, the People's Committee of Xuan Truong Ward, Da Lat (Lam Dong province) inaugurated the " Cherry Blossom Festival in Cau Dat Tea Region" 2026.

This activity is in response to the Cherry Blossom Festival - Da Lat Spring 2026, organized by the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, in coordination with Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat, Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat and Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat, taking place from January 16 to February 5, 2026.

The "Cherry Blossoms in Cau Dat Tea Region" program is one of the highlights of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Da Lat Spring 2026, organized under the direction of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, to celebrate the Party and the Spring, and to look forward to the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026.

Through the festival, the locality celebrates the distinctive beauty of cherry blossoms - the symbolic flower of spring in Da Lat; and at the same time promotes the aesthetic, ecological, and cultural value of this flower to locals, domestic and international tourists.

The festival also contributes to preserving and promoting the image of "Da Lat - the city of a thousand flowers," the "Da Lat Flower Festival" brand, while creating unique spring tourism products, increasing the attractiveness to tourists, and contributing to the sustainable development of the local economy and tourism.

On the Cau Dat tea hills – a tea-growing region with a history spanning over a century – locals and tourists immerse themselves in the springtime atmosphere, surrounded by the vast green expanse of tea hills, interspersed with the vibrant pink of blooming cherry blossoms.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tran Hung Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Truong Ward, Da Lat, stated that the "Cherry Blossoms in Cau Dat Tea Region" program not only honors the characteristic flower of Da Lat but also marks the beginning of a series of cultural, tourism , and economic activities that the locality is focusing on promoting.

Through this program, the locality hopes to promote the beauty and potential of Xuan Truong; strengthen the spirit of solidarity and emulation among officials, Party members, and the people, working together to build a more developed, civilized, and sustainable locality.

The highlights of the festival include sightseeing and taking photos with the cherry blossoms on Cau Dat tea hill; an exhibition of photos of Da Lat past and present; enjoying local specialties such as tea, coffee, sun-dried persimmons, vegetables, and flowers; and participating in planting cherry blossom trees in the tea hill area.
