The event was launched not only to promote and honor the achievements of the Ho Chi Minh City Education and Training sector in the past 50 years, but also to mark an important milestone in the journey of educational innovation in the city in particular and the country in general, when the values ​​of physical education and sports are enhanced in school education.

Recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, Vovinam martial arts was chosen as a performance for students because of its suitability to the Vietnamese physique and the typical values ​​of Vietnamese Martial Arts such as martial spirit, traditional identity and national pride. Through practicing Vovinam in particular and sports in general, students are nurtured with many valuable qualities for their journey to adulthood such as solidarity, team spirit, confidence, will, discipline and courage. Each young individual who develops comprehensively will contribute to building a dynamic Vietnamese generation ready to enter the era of national development.
