Sow the seeds of happiness and light up the faith
After Dong Nai province merged with Binh Phuoc province, the humanitarian and charity work of the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province has had many positive changes, with many practical programs aimed at children in remote, isolated and border areas.
On July 22, 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Economic - Defense Group 778 to organize a program to donate nutritional milk to students in difficult circumstances in Dak O commune, Dong Nai province. During the program, the Provincial Red Cross Association presented 80 cartons of milk and 97 lanterns with a total cost of more than 38 million VND. The funding source was sponsored by the association's TH true MILK Dairy Food Joint Stock Company.
At the same time, many volunteer groups in the province are also actively participating in supporting children in difficult areas. The Bien Hoa volunteer group, represented by Mr. Nguyen Van Quy, has repeatedly called on the community to join hands to help children. Most recently, the group mobilized more than 1,000 warm coats to send to children in the highlands of Tuyen Quang province, bringing warmth to difficult places. The group plans to call for 1,500 warm coats and will hand them out to local people.
Not only caring for children in the highlands, local volunteer activities also spread love to special circumstances. On September 6, the Long Binh Ward Youth Union (Dong Nai Province) organized a visit and gave gifts to the Orphanage Center, Hanoi Parish (in Long Binh Ward). The gifts, though simple, contained a lot of affection, sharing and responsibility of local youth, contributing to giving the children more strength to step firmly in life. The representative of the Ward Youth Union sent thanks to the sponsors, union members and youth who accompanied and joined hands to carry out this meaningful activity.
Small actions today, from a carton of milk, a warm coat to a mid-autumn lantern, are sowing seeds of happiness and lighting up the faith of children in mountainous and border areas as well as children in special circumstances. In addition, the Provincial Red Cross and volunteer groups also promote support for people with disabilities, poor households, and families in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading the spirit of "the rich help the poor" to the community.
Accompany and spread love
Vice President of the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai Province, Nguyen Thi Hang Nga, said: Over the past time, the Society has always strived to connect kind hearts, bringing love to students in remote areas, ethnic minorities in border areas with difficult circumstances. The activities not only aim to create conditions to support children to enjoy going to school in the new school year but also contribute to organizing healthy playgrounds, preparing for the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival.
In the near future, the Dong Nai Red Cross Association will coordinate with the Long Thanh Commune Social Charity Red Cross Association to implement a very meaningful charity program in Bu Gia Map Commune, a border area with many difficulties. The program will focus on giving Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, nutritious milk, and school supplies to poor students; at the same time, supporting some essential gifts for families in especially difficult circumstances.
Deputy Secretary of Long Binh Ward Youth Union Nguyen Kim Huy shared: Youth union members always accompany and contribute to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.
“We hope that each gift, no matter how small, will give students more faith and hope, helping them have a fulfilling Mid-Autumn Festival and enter the new school year with more motivation,” said Mr. Huy.
It is expected that on the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Long Binh Ward Youth Union will coordinate to organize the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2025", giving moon cakes, lanterns and scholarships to excellent students and students in difficult circumstances in Long Binh Ward.
The practical and meaningful activities of young volunteer groups in Dong Nai in recent times have contributed to encouraging the learning spirit of many poor students and those in difficult circumstances; helping them gain more determination to excel in their studies, practice to become good children, good students, and contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

These charity programs not only bring material value but also spread spiritual value. From small gifts, love has been connecting the community, helping children in remote areas not to be left behind in their journey of learning and growing up.
