During the period 2024-2026, the Committee held seven full-term conferences to decide on many major policies, while also consolidating personnel and ensuring the continuous and effective operation of the Front system.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga stated that the Presidium has played a leading role in democratic consultation, closely coordinating with the National Assembly and the Government in lawmaking and implementing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front also actively participated in the process of amending and supplementing several articles of the 2013 Constitution, amending the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth, and many policies related to the rights and interests of the people.

One of the highlights mentioned in the report is the work on social welfare and mobilizing the people. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has effectively coordinated the implementation of patriotic emulation movements, especially the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and build 5,500 solidarity houses for ethnic minorities and poor households in the Northwest region.
Efforts to mobilize support for people affected by natural disasters have also yielded significant results, with a total of thousands of billions of dong mobilized to help overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga also emphasized the strong strides in the digital transformation of the Fatherland Front system. The Vietnam Fatherland Front's digital transformation plan for the period 2025-2030 has been issued; the "Digital Fatherland Front" platform is gradually proving effective in understanding public opinion, receiving voter feedback, and managing the work of the entire system.
We will continue to strongly innovate in content and methods of operation.
Besides the achievements, Ms. Ha Thi Nga frankly pointed out many shortcomings and limitations. Propaganda and mobilization work in some areas has not met practical requirements; understanding the people's sentiments has sometimes been untimely; and social monitoring and criticism in some areas are still hesitant and not highly effective.
Some officials and committee members did not fully participate in the activities, and guidance to the grassroots level after the reorganization of the apparatus was sometimes slow, causing difficulties in implementation.

The oldest delegate attending the congress was 97 years old.

Based on practical experience from the 2024-2026 period, the report draws many important lessons learned. These include emphasizing the need to closely adhere to the Party's leadership, promote democracy, focus strongly on the grassroots, prioritize the people, and strengthen national unity. The report also highlights the exemplary role and responsibility of Front cadres in the new period.
According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, in response to the country's reform needs and the people's expectations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to strongly innovate its content and methods of operation to be closer to and more responsive to the people.
This will improve the quality of supervision and social criticism; promote the bridging role between the Party, the State, and the people; and contribute to consolidating national unity and building a prosperous and happy country.
