On February 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province organized a reception to support the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the locality in 2025.
Attending the reception ceremony were Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ninh Thuan province, along with officials, civil servants, and union members of the Provincial Labor Federation.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province received 1 billion VND in support from agencies, units, enterprises, officials, civil servants, and union members of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, emphasized that the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is a particularly important political task, of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the disadvantaged and in line with the nation's fine traditions and ethics.
According to Mr. Le Van Binh, in 2024, Ninh Thuan province repaired and built 823 new houses with a total cost of over 61 billion VND. Up to this point, Ninh Thuan province still has 2,037 houses in need of support, of which 1,472 are newly built and 565 are being repaired with a total cost of about 200 billion VND.
On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan Province, Mr. Le Van Binh expressed his gratitude to the agencies, units, businesses and people in the province for their noble deeds, helping the poor to gradually escape poverty and stabilize their lives.
