Scattered drizzle all day in the North is forecast to last for at least four more days then decrease, temperatures tend to gradually increase.

The North has been cloudy for the past two days, with showers in the morning and then drizzle all day due to the impact of weakened cold air and the convergence zone at an altitude of 1,500 m. The temperature in the North today is generally 18-20 degrees Celsius, in the highlands 10-12 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the high-altitude wind convergence will continue to operate until January 14, so the North will continue to maintain the above weather conditions. From January 15, the rain will gradually decrease.

The American website Accuweather predicts that in the coming days, the temperature in Hanoi will tend to increase gradually. If tomorrow, January 12, the temperature is at 17-19 degrees, then early next week it will increase to 19-24 degrees Celsius. High points over 1,500 meters above sea level such as Sa Pa ( Lao Cai ) in the coming days will have a common temperature of 10-15 degrees Celsius.

The Central region from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai will have cloudy weather in the next three days, with scattered rain at night and in the morning in the Thanh Hoa - Ha Tinh area. The highest temperature during the day in Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue provinces is 24-27 degrees Celsius, and in the Da Nang to Binh Thuan area is 27-30 degrees Celsius.

The South and Central Highlands continue to maintain a state of little cloud, no rain at night, sunny during the day, the temperature in the Central Highlands fluctuates between 28-31 degrees, the South 33-35 degrees, the Southeast has localized heat.

From December 11, 2023 to January 10, there will be four cold spells. Of which, on December 22, 2023, Mau Son (Lang Son) had a temperature of -2.5 degrees, the lowest temperature in the same period in December according to statistics since 2012.

The meteorological agency said that in the next month, the average temperature of the whole country will be 1-2 degrees Celsius higher than the average of many years. Cold air during this period also tends to be weaker than the average of many years, with fewer days of severe cold.
