Miss World VN 2025: Top 50 "causes a stir" with impressive foreign language skills and education

The jury has officially selected 50 contestants to enter the national final round of Miss World Vietnam 2025. This year's contestants are considered by the organizers to be more outstanding in terms of skills, height and education.

The Top 50 contestants of Miss World Vietnam 2025 have just been officially revealed after the preliminary round of the contest held in Ho Chi Minh City. The event marked the start of the journey to find a Vietnamese representative to participate in the prestigious Miss World arena.

According to the organizers, Miss World Vietnam 2025 attracted nearly 300 online applications, of which the live preliminary round recorded 120 beauties from many provinces and cities across the country. The contestants have carefully prepared their appearance and demeanor to participate in the anthropometric assessment, catwalk performance, posing in front of the judges and finally the interview round.

Head of the organizing committee, Ms. Pham Kim Dung, assessed that the quality of Miss World Vietnam 2025 contestants this year is even and even somewhat superior to previous years. Many candidates possess outstanding appearance, confident demeanor and good communication skills, in line with the criteria that Miss World aims for. In addition, there is meticulousness in the preparation stage, from personal style, stage skills to serious attitude when participating in the competition rounds.

“ I think this year the selection will be difficult because of the outstanding quality of the contestants. I feel that you have been waiting for Miss World Vietnam for a long time and have prepared seriously. In many contestants, I clearly see the appearance, demeanor and spirit of 'Miss World . ' You are all gentle, elegant, carrying humane stories and the desire to express yourself at Miss World, a playground that honors differences, promotes the voice of the heart and intelligence , ” Ms. Pham Kim Dung shared.

This year’s contestants range in age from 2000 onwards (the youngest was born in 2007). The judges said the contestants’ physical qualities were consistent, with a good average height. Most were over 1m70 tall, the ideal criteria for international beauty contests.

Sharing about the contestants of this year's season, director Hoang Nhat Nam said: " I see in them a very civilized competitive spirit with careful preparation, clear direction and a desire to truly contribute. "

Candidates with impressive academic backgrounds

Not only outstanding in beauty and performance skills, the Miss World Vietnam 2025 candidates also attract attention with their impressive educational background. The head of the jury said that many candidates have studied at top universities in the country such as Diplomatic Academy, Foreign Trade University, International University, National Economics University... Some candidates are even studying for a master's degree. Some are working as bilingual MCs, university lecturers, editors, engineers, doctors, pharmacists...

Foreign language ability is also a bright spot. Many candidates confidently introduced themselves, answered questions and communicated with the judges entirely in English. For example, candidate Truong Tam Nhu (Da Nang) achieved IELTS 8.0, Phan Phuong Oanh ( Hanoi ) achieved IELTS 7.5, Phung Dieu Linh (Nghe An) has IELTS 7.0. Not only that, some candidates are also fluent in Chinese, Japanese and French.

At Miss World Vietnam 2025, many candidates have experience participating in previous beauty pageants such as Bui Thu Thuy (Top 10 Miss Grand Vietnam 2025), Vu Thi Kieu Trinh (Top 15 Miss Vietnam 2024), Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh (1st Runner-up Miss Vietnam Student 2024)...

After the anthropometric round, 80 candidates moved on to the interview round. Here, each girl had the opportunity to chat, interact, answer questions as well as take on challenges from the judges. Thereby revealing their personality and individual identity more clearly.

Head judge, Miss Ha Kieu Anh, said that many candidates were participating in a beauty contest for the first time but confidently showed off their talents in singing, rapping, playing musical instruments, acting, etc., as well as frankly sharing their personal views on life and social issues.

After the evaluation process, the jury has selected the top 50 contestants to enter the final round of Miss World Vietnam 2025. “ This will be a playground for you to shine brightly and fully demonstrate your talents through specially designed competitions. We believe that this season will bring many interesting things, worthy of the audience's wait , ” Ms. Pham Kim Dung affirmed.

Accordingly, after officially entering the contest, the contestants will participate in sub-contests such as Miss Talent, Miss Courage, Miss Fashion, Miss Sea... The winner will succeed Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi, and at the same time become the representative of Vietnam to attend the 74th Miss World./.
