According to the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ), in November, the whole country had 15,100 newly established enterprises, down 16.1% compared to the previous month and up 34.9% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the country also had 9,700 enterprises returning to operation, down 16.4% compared to the previous month and up 25.6% compared to the same period in 2024. In total, in 11 months, the country had 275,600 newly registered and returning enterprises, up 26.1% compared to the same period last year. On average, 25,100 enterprises were newly established and returned to operation per month.
On the other hand, last month, 4,859 enterprises registered to temporarily suspend business, up 14.5% over the same period last year. In addition, the country had 6,668 enterprises suspending operations pending dissolution procedures, down 11.7%, and 4,022 enterprises completing dissolution procedures, up 110.6%.
The number of enterprises withdrawing from the market in 11 months was 205,400, an increase of 18.6% over the same period last year. On average, 18,700 enterprises withdrew from the market per month. The total registered capital added to the economy in 11 months was 5.6 quadrillion VND, an increase of 104.3% over the same period in 2024.

Regarding investment, the investment capital implemented from the State budget in November is estimated at VND 97,500 billion, up 21.5% over the same period last year. In the 11 months, the investment capital implemented from the State budget is estimated at VND 736,400 billion, equal to 72.2% of the yearly plan and up 26.8% over the same period last year (the same period in 2024 was equal to 74.3% and up 3.9%).
As of November 30, total registered foreign investment capital in Vietnam (including new issuance, adjustment and capital contribution/share purchase) reached 33.69 billion USD, up 7.4% over the same period.
Foreign direct investment realized in Vietnam in the first 11 months is estimated at 23.6 billion USD, up 8.9% over the same period last year. Regarding Vietnam's investment abroad, there are 148 new projects with a total capital of 742.8 million USD, up 33.8%. Including adjusted capital, total investment abroad reached 1.1 billion USD, up sharply 83.9% over the same period.
