When discussing the entrepreneurship movement, youth entrepreneurship support, and community activities in Ca Mau in recent years, Mr. Le Tran Anh Hung (Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ca Mau province, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau) is a name that has left a clear mark.
Le Tran Anh Hung is also a young official recognized as a national exemplary figure for the period 2020-2025, with an innovative approach that closely links entrepreneurship, community, and promoting the local image.

About five years ago, seeing the reality that many young entrepreneurs lacked information, connections, and guidance tools, Mr. Hung boldly advised and proposed to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to issue the "Ca Mau Province Startup Support Handbook." At that time, this was an unprecedented model in the region. More than just a handbook, this solution was built as an open information system, continuously updating policies and connecting startup projects with support resources.
After implementation, the effectiveness is evident. More than 500 projects registered to participate, not only in Ca Mau but also spreading to many provinces and cities; the total capital mobilized to support startups exceeded 2 billion VND. The "Ca Mau Province Startup Support Handbook" has become a highlight in administrative reform and local startup support.
Mr. Le Tran Anh Hung shared that entrepreneurship is not just about ideas or capital, but a journey of aspiration and belief, where young people dare to think, dare to act, and dare to turn their dreams into value for their homeland.
Inspired by that spirit, numerous initiatives have been implemented, such as: the Ca Mau Provincial Entrepreneurship Space, the provincial-level entrepreneurship competition, the Startup Talkshow series, the CamaUP entrepreneurship festival, along with a series of training programs, workshops, and exhibitions both domestically and internationally. These activities have gradually formed a dynamic entrepreneurship network, connecting businesses, schools, support organizations, and the young creative community.
Open spaces for young ideas are not just found in Ca Mau.
In that journey, the "Ca Mau Province Startup Space" model, established in early 2022, is considered a prominent milestone. More than just a shared workspace, it's also a meeting place for young people to network, share ideas, and nurture creative concepts.

Each month, this space attracts nearly 10,000 visitors, with almost 50 clubs and startups regularly operating in the Co-Working Space area. Notably, for three consecutive years, projects from Ca Mau province have won first prize in the Mekong Delta startup competition, thus affirming the practical effectiveness and increasingly prominent position of the local startup movement.
Not content with just economic entrepreneurship, Hung expanded his thinking to include cultural entrepreneurship. For him, each creative product is also a way of telling a story about the people and land of Ca Mau using modern, emotionally rich language.
The rap music video "Cà Mau, Where Are You Going?" is a noteworthy experiment. For the first time, images of mangrove forests, floating markets, the Nghinh Ông festival, and the friendly people of Cà Mau are expressed through rap – the language of youth. The song was chosen to open the inaugural night of the Cà Mau Shrimp Festival 2023, creating a fresh impression and showcasing the creative and dynamic spirit of the youth of Cà Mau.
In the field of cinema, the film "Mui Ca Mau National Park - A Green Heritage on the Map of Vietnam" won third prize in the "Impressive Vietnam Tourism" video/clip creation contest in 2025, contributing to spreading the image of Ca Mau on the Vietnamese tourism map.
Give to spread the message.
Alongside his entrepreneurial and innovative endeavors, Le Tran Anh Hung's journey is also marked by more than 16 community projects and over 100 programs and campaigns in the fields of culture, education, startup support, healthcare, social welfare, and environmental protection, with a total budget of nearly 5 billion VND.

A prime example is the "For You" project, which started in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. From providing small meals to support people during the pandemic, the project quickly developed in a sustainable direction: supporting over 20,000 workers with accommodation, distributing 50,000 pieces of medical equipment, and over 10 tons of goods and essential supplies through free kitchens and stalls.
To date, "For You" has reached nearly 5,000 disadvantaged children in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta region, bringing them meals, books, scholarships, and a message to raise awareness about preserving the living environment.
Mr. Pham Tuan Tai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union, assessed the "For You" project as a bright spot in charitable work, spreading the spirit of compassion and social responsibility. Regardless of his role, Mr. Le Tran Anh Hung consistently demonstrates initiative, perseverance, and consistency in his dedication to the community.
From a young and enthusiastic official, Mr. Le Tran Anh Hung is continuing to write his own story of inspiring entrepreneurship, creativity, and sharing for the younger generation in the southernmost part of the country. Without fanfare or ostentation, the values he creates are quietly spreading, contributing to Ca Mau's steady entry into a new era.
