On November 12, in Can Tho City, VJSS Football Center coordinated with Can Tho Football Federation (CFF) to hold a press conference to announce strategic sponsor Yamaha Motor Vietnam and the draw ceremony for the "VJSS Children's Football Can Tho City - Yamaha Cup 2025" tournament.

The event marked the official start of the most anticipated season of the year, bringing together 24 teams from excellent primary schools across the city. The tournament took place from December 27 to 28 at the artificial turf field cluster of Can Tho City Sports Center.
Mr. Truong Cong Quoc Viet - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City - emphasized: "This is a meaningful sporting event, with 24 participating teams, a record number compared to previous tournaments in Can Tho. This shows that the city has potential for school football after the merger".
The tournament is divided into 8 groups of 3 teams each. After the group stage, the teams will be ranked to compete in 3 divisions: Champion A, B, and C.

According to the organizers, this year's season will bring a meaningful highlight of carrying out the journey "Bringing the Yamaha Cup to each club", directly visiting, encouraging and giving gifts to the teams.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Head of the tournament organizing committee, Director of VJSS Football Center - said that children in Vietnam have a great passion for football, but are lacking large-scale and well-organized playgrounds.

The tournament promises to bring a useful playground for children.
The organizers' direct visit to 24 schools is not just to give a gift, but to show commitment and appreciation for the efforts of teachers and students.
Mr. Vo Tran Huy, representative of Yamaha Motor Vietnam, affirmed: "We hope that the children participating in the tournament will not only have beautiful memories on the field, but also be inspired to pursue their dreams, whether in sports or in life."
