A school in Quang Tri requested not to collect money to visit teachers on November 20th.

GD&TĐ - On November 11, the leader of Bac Ly Primary School No. 2 said that he had just asked teachers and parents not to collect or pay for visiting teachers.

Previously, Bac Ly Primary School No. 2 (Dong Thuan Ward, Quang Tri Province) issued Notice 260/TB-THS2BL; in which, it requested homeroom teachers and parents not to discuss, donate or pay money to visit teachers.

Homeroom teachers and parents do not use the class parent association fund to visit the principal or teachers.

The notice also clearly states that it is strictly forbidden to collect class funds or money from parents in any form; and at the same time, it is forbidden to organize extra classes for primary school students.

Besides, socialized educational activities must ensure voluntariness, not equalize, and not put pressure on parents.

The accounting department is required to publicly and transparently disclose contributions in accordance with the law.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Principal of Bac Ly Primary School No. 2, many parents in the area still have difficulties due to unstable economic life. The policy of not collecting visiting money or gifts during the holidays is implemented to reduce the burden on parents and ensure a transparent educational environment.
