Last night, December 6, the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Go Vap Ward (HCMC) coordinated with Hong Ha Secondary and High School to organize the art program "Humanity in the midst of storms and floods" to call for cooperation and support from the community to share and support people in areas affected by floods.

The program has the participation of many artists and singers such as: People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Nguyen Vu, Dam Vinh Hung, Ngoc Son, Kim Tu Long, Luong Chi Cuong, Quach Tuan Du...

Dr. Ha Thi Kim Sa, Chairman of the Board, Principal of Hong Ha Secondary and High School, shared that the program was organized with the goal of helping people overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize their lives. In addition, through images of the difficulties and hardships that people in flood-hit areas have had to endure in the past time, the school wants students to understand the value of life. From there, they will always be aware of studying and practicing to become useful people, ready to support the community when facing difficulties.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, shared that up to now, Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized over 300 billion VND and more than 2,000 tons of goods to help the people of the Central region affected by storms and floods. Hundreds of cadres, soldiers, medical staff, postal and telecommunications staff, electricity workers, sanitation workers, etc. also went to the Central region to help people rebuild their lives after the floods. He also thanked Hong Ha Secondary and High School, the organizers, artists and benefactors for organizing the program and showing their affection to the people of the Central region.

Informing Thanh Nien newspaper reporters this morning (December 7), Ms. Ha Thi Kim Sa said that at the end of the "Human Love in the Storm and Flood" art program, the organizers had raised 821 million VND from parents, students and audiences. This amount will be transferred to people in areas heavily affected by storms and floods in the coming days.

Also in the program, the school donated 100 million VND to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund founded by former Vice President Truong My Hoa.
