After Casemiro was thought to be 'kicked out' of Old Trafford in the summer transfer window of 2025, things are now going in the complete opposite direction.
The 33-year-old star has become an important player in Ruben Amorim 's squad and is highly appreciated by the Portuguese captain. According to some sources, Amorim also advised MU players to learn from Casemiro about how to fight to regain their position, professionalism and not give up.

Casemiro joined United in the summer of 2022, having won everything at Real Madrid. He played very well in his first season, but his influence at Old Trafford decreased the following year and he really lost himself in the previous campaign in the general misery of United.
But the 33-year-old midfielder has been reborn this season and Ruben Amorim is said to want to keep Casemiro for longer when his contract with United expires next summer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, MU is ready to offer Casemiro a new contract, but on the condition that he must reduce his salary.
Casemiro is currently being paid a very high salary by MU, about 350,000 pounds/week. Although many teams are interested, it is difficult for any European club to pay that amount, especially when the Brazilian midfielder will be 34 years old in February next year (February 23, 2026).
If he chooses money, Casemiro can go to the Saudi Pro League, where he has no shortage of offers. If he wants to continue with MU, according to some sources, he will have to accept a big pay cut - with the maximum the Red Devils can pay: 150,000 pounds/week.
Casemiro is currently training with the Brazilian team led by coach Carlo Ancelotti, at the FIFA Days in November (November 12-19). Because they have already won a ticket to the 2026 World Cup, Brazil will only have a friendly match with Senegal at 11pm tomorrow night (November 15). Meanwhile, MU's next match is against Everton, at 3am on November 25, round 12 of the Premier League, where the team is currently ranked 7th on the table.
