The selection of 15 outstanding literary and artistic events is an annual activity organized for several years, directed by the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations and organized by the Literary and Artistic Times, aiming to recognize the outstanding milestones in the creative life of literature and art each year.
The live voting ceremony took place on the afternoon of December 29th in Hanoi .
A vibrant year for literature and art.
The list of 20 nominated events includes achievements by individuals, organizations, associations, and government agencies. These events span various fields of arts and literature such as literature, film, theater, music , architecture, dance, and government administration.
Speaking at the event, musician Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, affirmed that 2025 will be a vibrant year for literature and arts, with many distinct imprints on social life.
The voting process aims to honor literary and artistic events with high ideological and artistic value, creating a positive impact on social life, clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of literature and art in cultivating character and enhancing the spiritual life of the people; and at the same time vividly reflecting the major changes of the country in 2025.
The voting results are not only a recognition of creative collectives and individuals, but also contribute to affirming the position of Vietnamese literature and art in contemporary life, creating motivation to promote creativity and spread the beautiful values of Vietnamese culture and people.
The list of 15 outstanding cultural and artistic events for 2025 will be announced on January 1, 2026.

Art and literature festivals are a major part of the event.
Besides the success of "Red Rain" and Duc Phuc's victory on the international stage, the list of 20 nominated events includes many art festivals organized by various associations.
Specifically, the list includes the following events:
- The General Secretary presided over the meeting with representatives of intellectuals, scientists, artists, and exemplary veteran officials.
- Activities summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification.
- Activities of literary and artistic associations during the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
- The campaign to compose songs titled "Vietnam - Cuba, the song of solidarity and friendship will forever resonate."
- The 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day - 2025.
- Happy Vietnam 2025 Awards Ceremony.
- The 4th International New Music Festival - 2025.
- National Music Festival 2025 (Expanded).
- The 5th International Festival of Experimental Theatre 2025.
- National Traditional Opera and Folk Drama Festival 2025
- The 24th Vietnam Film Festival.
- The 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival.
- The "V Concert - Radiant Vietnam" grand music festival.
