According to information from the Ha Tinh Irrigation Department, due to the influence of cold air combined with high-altitude easterly winds, from the night of October 29 to November 1, there was rain in Ha Tinh, especially in the southern coastal plains, there was moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.
Rainfall measured at automatic rain gauge stations from 5:00 p.m. on October 29 to 9:00 p.m. on November 1, 2025 was generally from 500mm - 950mm.
Due to the impact of heavy rain, the water level of irrigation lakes in Ha Tinh province has increased rapidly. Currently, the water level of Ke Go lake is 32.07/32.5m, reaching 95.01% of the design; Song Rac lake is 22.47/23.2m, reaching 91.09% of the design; Ngan Truoi lake is 45.735/52m, reaching 68.446% of the design.

To proactively respond to heavy rain, reservoirs have been operating to discharge overflow. At 10 p.m. on November 1, Ke Go reservoir was discharging at a flow rate of 500 m 3 / s, a decrease of 50 m 3 / s compared to 5 p.m.; Song Rac reservoir was discharging 400 m 3 / s, Kim Son reservoir was discharging 35 m 3 / s, a decrease of 2 m 3 / s compared to 5 p.m.; Da Han reservoir was discharging 70 m 3 / s, a decrease of 10 m 3 / s compared to 5 p.m.; Thuong Song Tri reservoir was discharging 75 m 3 / s, a decrease of 15 m 3 / s compared to 5 p.m.
Reservoirs: Tau Voi 10 m3 / s, Khe Xai Lake 30 m3 /s; Boc Nguyen Lake 20 m3 /s, unchanged compared to 5:00 p.m. on November 1.
Ho Ho Hydropower Plant has an upstream water level of 64.91m/70m, regulating through the spillway at 183 m 3 /s, down from 17:00 at 189 m 3 /s (the highest discharge time was 1,206 m 3 /s from 17:00 to 19:00 on October 31).

According to the Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, currently, the rain is decreasing, the tide level is going down, but due to the heavy rainfall in recent days and the reservoir releasing floodwaters, the flooding level is still increasing, however, not too much.
Heavy rain is forecasted to continue in the next 24 hours, with rainfall forecasted at 70-150mm, with some places over 200mm. Flooding on Ngan Sau River is forecast to decrease, while downstream of Ke Go Lake will increase.
