In the past few days, due to the impact of storm No. 3, heavy local rainfall combined with floods from upstream, flood levels in communes in Dong Thap Muoi area of Tay Ninh province have increased rapidly. On average, flood levels have increased by 2-5cm day and night.

On July 20, the water level measured at Hong Ngu canal, Tan Hung commune was 1.35m, 2cm higher than the previous day, 47cm higher than the same period in 2024.

It is forecasted that in the coming days, the water level will continue to rise, and on rainy days, the water level may rise faster. Given the complicated weather conditions, floods and storms will continue. People need to pay more attention to flood and storm prevention, and not be subjective or negligent.
