Writer Tran Nha Thuy auctioned off paintings on his personal page to raise money to support the people of Central Vietnam who are struggling with storms and floods.
He received enthusiastic support from People's Artist Tra Giang, who donated the oil painting On the Other Side of the Sea to the auction with a starting price of 25 million VND. Currently, someone is willing to buy the painting for nearly 40 million VND.
Painter Ha Hung also sent two paintings to the auction through writer Tran Nha Thuy. A large painting has a starting price of 10 million VND and a small painting has a starting price of 3 million VND. Tran Nha Thuy said the auction will last until November 24, he will close it to transfer the money to help people.
