My Tam and more than 100 international artists perform at HOZO 2024

At the press conference to announce the launch of the 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival - HOZO 2024 on the morning of October 15, the Organizing Committee (OC) said that although HOZO 2023 was very successful, attracting a large number of international and domestic audiences, the Organizing Committee was not pressured by the results achieved. Musician Huy Tuan, general director of HOZO 2024, said that in the midst of the bustling music festival season in the last months of the year, the HOZO Organizing Committee continued to expand the scale and surrounding activities to create a festival "ecosystem".

The theme of HOZO 2024 is One world , one beat , meaning that audiences everywhere will live together in the passion for music, together overcoming the changes in an ever-changing world.

Notably, HOZO 2024 is expected to welcome more than 100 international artists to Ho Chi Minh City to perform throughout the event. This is the Organizing Committee's orientation in "bringing the Vietnamese voice to the world and the world to Vietnam". Musician Huy Tuan shared that, unlike other year-end music festivals, HOZO 2024 will have a highlight of its identity in the general international atmosphere: it is expected to have performances by Vietnamese artists with material that is deeply Vietnamese.

In particular, the Ho Do Inspiration Competition (part of the HOZO 2024 "ecosystem") has now been launched, demonstrating the promise of bridging the world and Vietnam's culture through music. This year's competition will introduce the champion to music festivals around the world. People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said that HOZO 2024 will have a fund dedicated to artists with the spirit of encouraging young musical talents to go further in the international arena. The Ho Do Inspiration Competition nights will take place on October 25-26 and November 24 (the final night).

Singer My Tam is the artist chosen to be the "headliner" - the representative face of the program. Other international artists who have also been chosen as "headliners" will be gradually announced in the coming time.

HOZO Music Festival 2024 basically still has the same stage structure and booths as last year: the main stage for the 3 official shows is located at the intersection of Nguyen Hue walking street and Le Loi street. These 3 nights will take place from December 13 to 15 this year.
