Director of the Department of Home Affairs Trinh Van Ngoc - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee for the Advancement of Women of the province launched the Action Month for gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence in 2025.

Women and girls’ access to and enjoyment of health, education and employment services are increasingly enhanced. Gender issues are integrated into the implementation of socio -economic development programs and plans of the province and locality.

However, besides the achievements, the work of gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence still faces many difficulties and challenges.

The rate of women participating in leadership and management at all levels, especially in top positions, is still low; domestic violence, child abuse, and divorce rates tend to increase; discrimination against women and girls, and school violence still exist in many forms... requiring the drastic participation of the entire political system and society.
