The second week of January in the second quarter of the 26th season of "Road to Olympia" featured four contestants: Tran Thai Son (Nguyen Van Cu High School, Hai Phong), Doan Tri Anh (Dan Phuong High School, Hanoi ), Nguyen Tri Manh (Nguyen Sy Manh High School, Nghe An), and Tran Huynh Hai Duong (Huynh Man Dat Specialized High School, An Giang).
Before entering the competition, Tri Anh made his mark with first prize in the Dan Phuong - Phuc Tho (Hanoi) cluster's Mathematics Olympiad for gifted students, and was the runner-up in the entrance exam for the school. The Hanoi student also shared his interest in writing poetry and introduced one of his works right on the set.
In the Warm-up round, Thai Son took the lead with 75 points. Tri Anh had 70 points, Tri Manh 50 points, and Hai Duong 35 points.

In the Obstacle Course section, the hidden answer to be found had 9 letters. The first horizontal row selected had the question: What word is missing in the following lines of poetry: “January is as delicious as a… close lip/ I am happy. But half-heartedly/ I don't wait for the summer sun to cherish spring” (Hurry, Xuan Dieu) ? Tri Anh scored points with the answer “Like”.
The second row of questions asked about the missing word in the song lyrics. Tri Anh scored points with the answer "Ca dao" (folk song).
The third row selected contains the question: At the VTV Cup International Women's Volleyball Tournament, how many players are in an official starting lineup?
Immediately, Tri Anh pressed the buzzer to answer the hidden question. The male student from Dan Phuong gave the correct answer, "Six-eight verse poetry," to take the lead with 130 points. The scores of the other contestants remained unchanged.

The Speed Round saw a breakthrough from Hai Duong. An Giang's male student scored 110 points to take second place. Tri Anh maintained his consistent scoring, firmly securing the top spot.
Specifically, Tri Anh scored 200 points, Hai Duong 145 points, Thai Son 125 points, and Tri Manh 75 points.

Tri Anh was the first contestant to finish the competition.
In the final round, Tri Anh chose a question package worth 20, 30, and 20 points. He only scored points on the last question to finish with 220 points.
Hai Duong chose the question package worth 20 points. He scored on the second question, finishing with 165 points. He let Tri Manh score on the last question.
Thai Son chose questions worth 20, 20, and 30 points. He scored points on the first question, allowing Tri Anh to score points on the second. He finished with 125 points.
Tri Manh chose three questions, each worth 30 points. Tri Anh had the chance to answer the first question, but failed to score. He scored points on the second and last questions, choosing the "hope star" option. He finished with 175 points.

In the final results of week 2 of January, quarter 2 of Olympia 26, Doan Tri Anh (Dan Phuong High School, Hanoi) won the laurel wreath with 225 points.
Nguyen Tri Manh (Nguyen Sy Manh High School, Nghe An) came in second with 175 points. Tied for third place were Tran Huynh Hai Duong (Huynh Man Dat Specialized High School, An Giang) with 165 points and Tran Thai Son (Nguyen Van Cu High School, Hai Phong) with 125 points.
