(NADS) - After only 8 months of pursuing photography, Trong Huy - a multi-talented student of FPT University, received an invitation to hold a solo exhibition in Russia. This event marked an important turning point in Huy's photography career, with photos posted on VoidTokyo, a famous photography forum about Street Photography in Japan.
In April 2024, Huy's works were posted on VoidTokyo's Instagram page, attracting thousands of likes and compliments from the street art photography community. Thanks to his unique artistic perspective, Evgeny Komuhin - the curator of Space Place exhibition, invited Huy to hold a solo exhibition at the gallery of the Samoro art creative cluster, Russia. This was the first time Huy had received such a special invitation and he quickly seized the opportunity.
At the exhibition, Huy displayed a collection of 20 black and white photos, "Peace and Chaos", capturing moments from the peaceful countryside to the bustling cities of Vietnam. "Each photo is a story for viewers to contemplate the parallel existence of two elements of peace and chaos in this world," Huy shared.
Huy's passion for photography originated from the Photography course at FPT University, Hanoi. Although he has only been pursuing this field for 8 months, he has always spent time nurturing his emotions and improving his skills by walking around the streets and capturing everyday moments. Huy maintains the habit of taking at least one photo every day, which helps to significantly improve his composition, perspective, and ability to exploit the depth and emotion of each frame.
Huy is not the "anti-social" person that people think. He regularly shares his works on Instagram and Facebook, connecting with many friends who share the same passion both at home and abroad. This openness has helped him get noticed by famous international photography forums and organizations.
"The dynamic and creative learning environment of FPT University and the dedicated guidance from teachers not only equipped me with basic knowledge but also ignited in me a passion and special love for this art form," Huy shared.
The solo exhibition in Russia is not only an opportunity for Huy to challenge himself but also an opportunity for him to introduce his photographic works to international friends, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.
