Along with that is the wave of supply chain shift, the requirement to develop green and sustainable logistics, and the explosion of cross-border e-commerce, both opening up opportunities and creating great competitive pressure for Vietnamese enterprises.
Domestically, this year is also an important time for ministries, branches and localities to complete the goals set out in Decision No. 221/QD-TTg dated February 22, 2011 of the Prime Minister amending and supplementing Decision No. 200/QD-TTg dated February 14, 2017 on approving the Action Plan to improve competitiveness and develop Vietnam's logistics services by 2025, and at the same time implementing the Strategy for developing Vietnam's logistics services for the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2050, which was just signed and issued by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on October 9, 2025.
In particular, the transition to a two-level local government organization model, along with the policy of promoting administrative reform, decentralization and strong delegation of power from the Government, developing the private economy and strongly applying science and technology in logistics management and operation, is opening a new period of transformation, requiring close coordination between the central and local levels, between the public and private sectors.
