Improving communication skills for grassroots cadres in Vung Ang ward

(Baohatinh.vn) - Vung Ang Ward (Ha Tinh) organized a training course to improve knowledge and communication skills, prevent fake news and information security for grassroots staff of the ward and residential groups.

On December 6, the People's Committee of Vung Ang Ward organized a training session to foster and improve knowledge and skills in information and propaganda work for cadres, collaborators and propaganda forces in the ward.

Overview of the training session.

At the training session, delegates were equipped with knowledge by representatives of the Ward's Department of Culture and Society and Vung Ang Ward Police on: Skills in writing news and grassroots propaganda articles; how to exploit information, images, and videos for propaganda purposes; applying digital technology and social networks in community communication work; and notes on official, safe, and standard information on cyberspace.

Many knowledge and skills in information, propaganda and network security are updated closely to reality.

In particular, the trainees were instructed by representatives of Vung Ang Ward Police to identify bad, toxic information, fake news and common scams on cyberspace such as impersonating authorities, relatives, sending malicious links, etc. At the same time, they were equipped with skills to verify information, raise vigilance when receiving and sharing on digital platforms. Thereby, contributing to helping the grassroots propaganda team proactively detect, warn, prevent and promptly propagate to the people, maintain security and information safety in the area.
