Improving fruit tree cultivation techniques associated with circular economy

QTO - On November 26-27, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center organized a training course on sustainable fruit tree cultivation techniques and climate change adaptation under the theme "Training on circular agricultural economy" for 30 trainees who are agricultural extension officers, technical officers, farmers, farm owners, cooperative members, and cooperative members of Nam Trach, Hoan Lao, Quang Ninh, Truong Ninh and Le Thuy communes.

The training course aims to equip trainees with knowledge and techniques for intensive fruit tree cultivation in a sustainable, safe and climate change-adaptive manner; at the same time, understand and apply the principles of circular economy in agriculture, aiming to minimize input costs, utilize agricultural by-products, protect the environment and improve economic efficiency.

At the training course, trainees were introduced to the contents of organic agricultural production, circular agriculture adapting to climate change; the role of circular economy, principles and solutions of circular economy applied in fruit orchards; developing a plan to apply circular models to actual fruit orchards of families or cooperatives; technical processes for caring for citrus fruit trees according to VietGAP standards; application of new science and technology in citrus fruit production; technical solutions to overcome fruit orchards affected by storms...

The students also visited and learned about the VietGAP intensive fruit tree cultivation model at Mr. Nguyen Van Diem's ​​household in Nam Trach commune. Here, the students were given instructions on observation, analysis and situation handling skills in intensive fruit tree care in the direction of climate adaptation, thereby creating the premise for the formation of a safe and sustainable fruit tree production area to meet market demand.

It is known that the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center conducts 2 training courses with the same content for 30 students/class.
