Improving the capacity of officials of the Association of People with Disabilities

(CT) - For 3 days (from November 27 to 29), the Can Tho City Association of People with Disabilities in collaboration with the Center for Research and Action for Inclusive Development and the United Nations Development Program organized a training course on "Enhancing the representative voice and position of organizations of people with disabilities".

At the training course, leaders and officials of the Association of People with Disabilities at all levels were instructed on how to read, understand and comment on legal documents and policies; the process of internal consultation and presentation of comments to competent authorities. Regarding skills in mobilizing resources, building the image and reputation of the Association, trainees shared successful lessons from organizations of people with disabilities in connecting and building reputation with local authorities and sponsors; experience in building the brand and reputation of the organization.
