Over the next few days, the area is forecast to continue experiencing hot weather.

Accordingly, the forecast for May 13-15 indicates continued hot weather with temperatures ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, exceeding 37 degrees Celsius in some areas, and minimum humidity of 40-55 %. From May 16 onwards, the heatwave is expected to gradually subside.

However, due to the prolonged heatwave, the Hue City Meteorological Station warns that the actual outdoor temperature may be 2 to 4 degrees Celsius or more higher than forecast, depending on surface conditions. Furthermore, the prolonged heatwave could lead to a high risk of fires and explosions, increased electricity demand, and dehydration, fatigue, and health problems for people who spend long periods outdoors.

Extreme heat poses a danger to vulnerable groups, especially the elderly, those with underlying conditions such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and particularly those with a history of stroke.

In addition, there is a risk of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, so people need to be wary of extreme weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
