The Russian Defense Ministry announced that military delegations from 83 countries have begun participating in the Army 2024 international military-technical forum, which will take place from August 12-14.

According to TASS news agency, within the framework of the forum, bilateral meetings will take place between heads of foreign delegations on the development of military-technical cooperation through Russian agencies and organizations including the Ministry of Defense, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, the state arms export corporation Rosoboronexport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
“Official military delegations from 83 countries participated in the forum, with 39 delegations led by heads of defense ministries and chiefs of general staff,” the statement said.
The Army Forum will once again bring together representatives of the Russian and foreign armed forces and allow experts in the field of defense and national security to strengthen cooperation.
Speaking via video at the opening ceremony, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow appreciates and supports countries' interest in Russia's defense industry.
"We value our relationships with our partners and are ready to develop them, work together to create equal and indivisible security and build a new, more just multipolar world," he said.
According to him, Russia also received "sincere, lively" feedback from partners with Moscow's attitude towards constructive cooperation.
