The Kremlin said no agreements were signed between Moscow and Pyongyang during leader Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia.
"No, no agreements were signed, neither military nor other. We have no plans to sign any agreements," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today, referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's activities during his visit to Russia.
The statement came after the US and South Korea warned that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea risks violating UN Security Council sanctions.

President Vladimir Putin later said that Russia and North Korea do not pose a threat to other countries, stressing that Moscow has no intention of violating international norms and agreements in its efforts to build relations with Pyongyang.
"We do not provoke, escalate tensions or threaten anyone. We always discuss openly and will never violate any regulations. Of course, both sides will look for opportunities to develop Russia-North Korea relations," the Kremlin leader said.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia on September 12 by private train at the invitation of President Putin. This is Kim Jong-un's first foreign trip since 2019. At a summit in the Far East on September 13, President Putin raised the possibility of military-technical cooperation with North Korea while fully complying with international restrictions.
Mr Putin has returned to Moscow to meet his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, while Mr Kim Jong-un will continue his visit to Russia "in the coming days".
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller described any cooperation between Russia and North Korea as "quite troubling and likely to violate multiple UN Security Council resolutions."
South Korea expressed "deep concern and regret that North Korea and Russia are discussing military cooperation issues, despite warnings from the international community."
