According to Thanh Nien , these days in Ngai Thau Thuong village (A Lu commune, Bat Xat district, now Y Ty commune, Lao Cai province) - known as the highest inhabited village in Vietnam, has become an attraction for locals and tourists when the sea of clouds continuously appears, rolling like silver waves embracing the mountain slopes.

However, when entering the dry season, this village takes on a stunning beauty when the entire valley before your eyes turns into a "sea of clouds" floating in the early morning sun. Clouds hover over the Mong roofs, flow over the terraced fields that have been harvested, then quietly disappear into the sky.

This is one of the most beautiful cloud hunting locations in Y Ty commune. From here, you can see the clouds surrounding the mountain top below the 72-quai slope, from Ta Suoi Cau village up to Can Cau village, Y Ty commune. According to Mr. Lo A Sinh, it is called the 72-quai slope because you have to go 72 rounds to reach the top.
