Immersing in the sunset and sunrise moments on the roof of Indochina - Fansipan peak at 3,143 meters high is what every tourist desires. Especially, when the sun has just set below the horizon, the quiet night covers the top of Fansipan, it is also the time when we can immerse ourselves in the myriad of bright stars, feel the whole galaxy moving in the blue sky...
In particular, Fansipan also possesses a "collection" of moments that cannot be found in Vietnam. It could be the moment of hazy clouds, the moment of bright sunlight in the early morning, or the sunset dyeing the sea of floating clouds golden every time the sun sets, or billions of stars shining brightly all night... All of these things have made the sacred peak of Fansipan a "muse", an endless source of inspiration for photographers.

However, due to harsh weather conditions and to ensure safety, visitors are not allowed to sleep overnight on the top of Fansipan except for security personnel and personnel on special duty. At around 5 p.m. every day, an announcement from the Sun World Fansipan Legend Project Management Board is made to all visitors to move to the cable car station to go down the mountain.

At this time, the security staff began to "check" every corner on the top to see if there were any tourists who could not get down in time or "intentionally" stayed overnight. "When night falls, the temperature on the top of Fansipan suddenly drops quite low, freezing cold, so it is very dangerous to the health of tourists who do not ensure the conditions. We must try to get all tourists down the mountain on the last cable car of the day," the security staff on duty on the top of Fansipan shared.
For those who have experienced spending the night on the "roof of Indochina", it is truly a time like no other.

When the sun goes down, the scene is surreal with the sky full of stars and the Milky Way, along with the silence and the magical phenomenon of falling stars or ice. We can admire the constellations and the sparkling Milky Way thanks to the clear sky, fresh air and far down the valley is the lights of Sa Pa city.
Mr. Bao Long, who used to work at Sun World Fansipan Legend, said that to record the amazing natural phenomena at the height of 3,143 m with unpredictable weather conditions, besides careful and meticulous preparation, luck is a prerequisite. The moment that he could not forget was the Buddha's light and the shimmering Milky Way at night.

Minh Tu, who often "hunts" for photos on Fansipan peak, shared: Climbing Fansipan peak is also a way to measure his health every year, in addition to his passion for taking photos on the highest mountain in Vietnam. "There are many nights of climbing up and down hundreds of steps to find the best angle. It's both cold and tiring, but these are experiences that not everyone can have. The night sky on Fansipan peak, if it's a clear day, will have countless stars and the Milky Way clearly visible so you can get the best photos," Tu shared.
