However, due to harsh weather conditions and to ensure safety, visitors are not allowed to sleep overnight on the top of Fansipan except for security personnel and personnel on special duty. At around 5 p.m. every day, an announcement from the Sun World Fansipan Legend Project Management Board is made to all visitors to move to the cable car station to go down the mountain.

"When night falls, the temperature on the top of Fansipan suddenly drops quite low, freezing cold, so it is very dangerous to the health of tourists who do not ensure the conditions. We must try to get all tourists down the mountain on the last cable car of the day," the security staff on duty on the top of Fansipan shared.

"There are many nights of climbing up and down hundreds of steps to find the best angle. It's both cold and tiring, but these are experiences that not everyone can have.
