Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank supports social security activities with more than 3.6 billion VND

In the period of 2023 - 2025, Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank supported social security activities with a total amount of over 3.6 billion VND, of which professional support was over 1.9 billion VND, and union members supported over 1.6 billion VND.

Delegates attending the Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union Congress donated to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Specifically, responding to the call from superiors for donations to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank's grassroots trade union mobilized union members to contribute and withdraw from the social fund to support the amount of 612 million VND; participated in the "linking arms of love" program, supporting units under the Branch to give Tet gifts every year to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, poor households and policy families in the province, the amount of 699 million VND; annually supporting 2 orphans affected by the Covid-19 epidemic (the total amount of 264 million VND has been supported in the past 3 years); supported the "Repaying gratitude" fund with 41 million VND; supported the purchase of school bags for 170 students in Phu Nhuan commune, Bao Thang district with the amount of 47 million VND.

Officials of Lao Cai Province Social Policy Bank visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiaries.

In addition, the Provincial Social Policy Bank also provided timely support to communes assigned by the locality to take charge of and help, including: Khanh Thien, former Luc Yen district; De Xu Phinh and Che Cu Nha, former Mu Cang Chai district; Pa Cheo, former Bat Xat district; Tan Duong, former Bao Yen district, with a total budget of nearly 2 billion VND to build village cultural houses, renovate and repair houses for poor households...

In addition, the Provincial Social Policy Bank also organizes working delegations to visit and give gifts to poor households, policy families, and students on the occasion of holidays and New Year's Day.
