With many solutions to promote the "Smokeless Industry", in the first 6 months of the year, Quang Ninh tourism continued to be an attractive destination in the eyes of domestic and foreign tourists, with total revenue reaching nearly 22,300 billion VND.

As a key tourism locality of the province, since the beginning of the year, Ha Long City has put 7 new tourism products into operation. The new tourism products include: Lighthouse entertainment complex; restaurant cruise combined with wedding on Ha Long Bay; luxury accommodation; "Old memories" second-hand market (next to Quang Ninh Museum and Ha Long International Passenger Port); Bai Chay walking and culinary street (Sun World Ha Long Park); Son Duong commune community tourism model; Kim Cuong entertainment complex (Tuan Chau).
Along with that, the city also strengthens solutions to link industries and localities in the province, domestically and regionally to develop tourism. At the same time, it communicates, promotes, advertises, builds the Ha Long tourism brand, and develops more markets for visitors from Northeast Asia and China. Thanks to that, in the first half of 2024, Ha Long welcomed over 5.8 million visitors with total tourism revenue of up to 12,700 billion VND.
Not only Ha Long City, localities in the whole province are actively implementing and exploiting many new tourism products to contribute to realizing the goal of welcoming 17 million visitors in 2024.
In Van Don, the locality has also launched 10 new tourism products, attracting a large number of people and tourists. In the first 6 months of the year, international visitors to Van Don increased by 96% compared to the same period in 2023; tourism revenue reached nearly 1,200 billion VND, up 65.2%.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, in the first half of 2024, destinations in the province welcomed 10.4 million tourists, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2023. Tourism revenue reached over VND 22,000 billion, an increase of 34% over the same period. Notably, international visitors reached nearly 2 million, an increase of nearly 1.5 times over the same period. Although Vietnam's tourism is in the low season for international visitors, the number of international tourists to Quang Ninh is still maintained in a positive direction. Of which, the 10 countries and territories with the largest number of visitors to Quang Ninh are: China, Korea, India, Taiwan, USA, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, UK. This result is thanks to the province's continuous diversification of tourism products, increasing experiences, extending the length of stay, and increasing the spending power of tourists. Up to now, Quang Ninh has put into operation 23 new tourism products as planned from the beginning of the year.
Along with diversifying tourism products, tourism promotion and advertising activities are also prioritized and focused by the province. Recently, the leaders of the provincial People's Committee received and worked with Vietravel Tourism and Aviation Group on promoting cooperation in tourism development. Through this activity, the province hopes that Vietravel will accompany, support, advise, and invest in building competitive tourism products, increasing the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, enhancing the promotion and promotion of destinations both domestically and internationally, making Quang Ninh a tourism center connecting the region and the world.

By 2024, Quang Ninh strives to attract at least 17 million tourists, including 3 million international visitors. From now until the end of the year, the province will continue to perfect and introduce 39 new tourism products, focusing on high-class products associated with the World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and the historical relic of Yen Tu. At the same time, strengthen state management of tourism and services, ensure security and safety for tourists; complete amendments and supplements to temporary regulations on the management of tourist boat activities in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.
