Tourism industry needs handshakes
The Da Nang summer tourism stimulus program has just been announced by the city's Department of Tourism, including special combos applied during the summer, a 3-day, 2-night combo priced at about 3 million VND, including round-trip airfare and 2 nights at a 3-5 star hotel, shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel... Flights in the program are night flights from 11pm to 6am.
Da Nang's tourism stimulus package has attracted market attention, with Vietnam Airlines (VNA) participating. The airline will offer nearly 1 million night flights, departing after 9 p.m. and before 6 a.m. the following day on many domestic routes at attractive prices.
VNA also built a cooperation mechanism between aviation and local tourism to create products aimed at domestic tourists during this peak summer season. Proposing that provinces and cities call on and introduce travel agencies, accommodation facilities, and entertainment areas in the area to join the campaign to stimulate demand for night flights.

To expand the affordable travel combo packages while ensuring quality, airlines and tourism companies need to announce the list of partners participating in the tourism stimulus program, supporting product packages for customers. These are practical cooperation activities from airlines - tourism businesses, provinces - cities participating together, increasing the attractiveness of domestic destinations.
According to the General Statistics Office, in the first 5 months of this year, nearly 7.6 million international visitors came to Vietnam, an increase of 64.9% over the same period last year. Efforts to promote and advertise tourism have brought about positive effects, helping Vietnam's image to be increasingly recognized on the world tourism map.
However, the cooperation between aviation and tourism is mainly between airlines, localities, and travel companies, so it is still limited and on a small scale. There is no mechanism for coordination and cooperation at the national scale to create a big, effective, and long-term resonance.
In order to bring the image of Vietnamese tourism closer to international friends and make the tourism industry more attractive to domestic and international visitors, a comprehensive tourism development program led by state management agencies is needed.
