The Tax Department integrates artificial intelligence into eTax Mobile, providing 24/7 support.

This information was provided by the head of the Tax Department on December 9th. According to Deputy Director Mai Son, after nearly four years of operation, the application has been upgraded to a "one-stop shop - one-touch" model.

The Tax Department has successfully integrated VNeID login with all essential functions such as: tax registration; declaration; tax payment (including payment on behalf of others); tax obligation lookup; registration and adjustment of electronic invoice information; and lookup and feedback on business household information... to help taxpayers fulfill their obligations anytime, anywhere in the most convenient way.

2025 marks a breakthrough in development, with a significant increase in both scale and quality of usage. Since March 2022, over 13 million people have downloaded and installed the eTax Mobile application; the system has received and processed more than 17.2 million tax payment transactions, with a total amount of over 26.5 trillion VND contributed to the state budget.

In 2025 alone, the number of new registrations reached over 7 million, 1.2 times the total of the previous three years combined. The number of transactions reached 13.3 million, 3.36 times higher than the total transactions of previous years. The amount of money collected reached approximately 18 trillion VND, 2.1 times higher than the previous period.

The fact that the app has risen to the number 1 position in the "Business" category on the Vietnamese App Store shows that eTax Mobile has become a reliable, widely used, and convenient tool for supporting tax procedures.

With the trend of Industry 4.0 and the ever-increasing volume of data, the need for support and answers from taxpayers is growing and requires immediate assistance. This is a natural language-based "quick Q&A" tool that operates 24/7. The application also provides modern features such as speech-to-text conversion and vice versa, allowing for feedback on responses so the system can continuously learn and improve.
