TPO – This year, 729 candidates were proposed by the local councils for recognition of the titles of professor and associate professor. The Literature Department did not have any candidates proposed for both of these titles.
According to data published by the State Council of Professors (SPC) on its website, this year, there are 4 fields/interdisciplinary fields that have no candidates for professor: Security Science, Literature, Linguistics, and Culture - Arts - Sports. In particular, the Literature also has no candidates for associate professor.

In 2023, there are 6 majors with no candidates for professorship. These include the Linguistics and Literature departments.
This year, there are 10 industry and interdisciplinary councils with only 1 GS candidate.
Also according to data from the National Council for Economic Affairs, in 2024, the National Council for Economic Affairs Economy continues to hold the top position in terms of number of candidates, 108 people including 6 professor candidates, 102 associate professor candidates, an increase of 6 candidates compared to 2023.
