Department of Transport Ha Noi just announced, in Quoc Oai district, flooded locations, not ensuring traffic safety for vehicles on road 421B (old 81) include: at Km16+00 and Km6+700, Bridge 72II road 423 (old 72) flooded 40cm.
Accordingly, vehicles needing to circulate through the above area should travel in the following direction:
At Km6+700 DT421B (Quoc Oai district): Go through Thach Than - Cau Van Quang - Nghia Huong - turn left to Hanoi at the intersection and turn right to Xuan Mai, vehicles moving from Xuan Mai - Quoc Oai - Thang Long Boulevard.
At Km16+00 DT421B (Quoc Oai district), move towards Xuan Mai following QL6 - trail Ho Chi Minh – Thang Long Boulevard – Quoc Oai.
In Hoai Duc District, the flooded area is on bridge 72II, road 423 (old 72). Vehicles traveling on road 423 (old 72) cross bridge 72II to Hoai Duc, Ha Dong, when reaching Km9+200, turn onto road 419 to Chuc Son or go to Thang Long Avenue.
Vehicles from Ha Dong, Hoai Duc cross bridge 72II to Quoc Oai to Km 8+100 road 423 (Van Con commune post office) turn right onto Thang Long Avenue to Quoc Oai.
On Thang Long Avenue, vehicles needing to travel through underpass area No. 19 will go through the neighboring underpass areas (No. 18 and No. 20).
The Hanoi Department of Transport assigned the Department of Transport Inspectorate to arrange forces and rescue vehicles to ensure traffic safety 24/24 at flooded areas. Coordinate with the Traffic Police Department of the City Police and functional forces, the People's Committees of Quoc Oai and Hoai Duc districts to organize remote traffic diversion on surrounding roads, to prevent unsafety and traffic congestion from occurring.
The agency also requested the People's Committees of Quoc Oai and Hoai Duc districts and neighboring districts to coordinate with functional forces and relevant agencies and units to regulate and guide traffic flow at flooded locations. Regularly update and inform the situation in the area so that the Department of Transport can promptly adjust traffic flow plans to ensure safety and suitability.
