On December 4, the Conference on Preservation and Promotion of the World Cultural Heritage Values ​​of Hoi An Ancient Town took place.

ĐNO - To celebrate the 26th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary being recognized by UNESCO as world cultural heritages (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2025) and the 8th anniversary of the Central region's Bài Chòi art being recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity (December 7, 2017 - December 7, 2025), many cultural and artistic activities will be held on this occasion.

In addition to a series of propaganda, exhibition and visual promotion activities in the old quarter to introduce the outstanding global value of Hoi An Ancient Town, many thematic events were also organized, focusing on introducing research values ​​on documents, architecture, historical memories and ancient urban identity.

Activities taking place on this occasion include: experiencing Japanese culture at the Japanese Cultural Exhibition House; opening a thematic tour "Journey of Experience - Touching Heritage" at Hoi An's thematic museums; exchanging and celebrating "Hoi An Bai Choi Art - The process of preserving and promoting heritage"...

Notably, on December 4, there will be a Conference on the conservation and promotion of the value of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town in the new context and a meeting to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the recognition of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO at Song Hoai Square. According to a representative of the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, most of the activities implemented are practical and related to community benefits.

This further affirms that Hoi An is not only a living heritage of Vietnam, but also a cultural space rich in creativity, where tangible and intangible heritage values ​​are preserved by the consensus of the community and illuminated by the sustainable values ​​of humanity.
