On December 9, more than 300 beds were installed at Bach Mai Hospital's second facility, ready to serve patients.

Today (December 9), at Bach Mai Hospital's second facility in Ninh Binh, more than 300 beds and two emergency operating rooms were completed and ready to serve patients. At the same time, the hospital assigned more than 600 staff from facility 1 to facility 2.

Reporting to Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long during the inspection and supervision of the construction investment project of the Viet Duc Friendship Hospital's Facility 2 and the Bach Mai Hospital's Facility 2 in Ninh Binh province on the afternoon of December 8, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Bach Mai Hospital said that the hospital has assigned the permanent Deputy Head of Department to go to Facility 2.

Accordingly, in phase 1, more than 600 experienced doctors, nurses and technicians from Hanoi will be mobilized to Ninh Binh. These are all core forces with high professional qualifications, having participated in treating many difficult and complicated cases.

"The hospital has a series of preferential policies for staff working at the Bach Mai facility 2 such as salary increase, bonus, priority appointment. The hospital is ready to receive and put into operation the second facility" - Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co said and informed that on December 9, more than 325 new beds will arrive and be installed at the second facility; on December 13, 2 emergency operating rooms will be completed.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co, in the exciting atmosphere of emulation towards the 79th anniversary of National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025) and welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels, on December 4, 2025, the Party Committee of Bach Mai Hospital issued a historic Resolution, agreeing to put Bach Mai Hospital Branch 2 in Ninh Binh into official operation in phase 1 from December 19, 2025.

This is considered a strategic step, demonstrating the proactive spirit and high political responsibility of Bach Mai Hospital in implementing the major policy of the Party and Government on reducing the burden on upper levels, while improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in the southern region of Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

The Party Committee and Board of Directors of Bach Mai Hospital thoroughly grasp the consistent viewpoint: The two facilities in Hanoi and Ninh Binh must be a unified system, operating synchronously, with the same quality level.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co emphasized: "The implementation of the second facility in Ninh Binh is an important political task of the leadership and staff of Bach Mai Hospital. We do not just put a project into use but must build a quality system equivalent to the first facility. Patients coming to the second facility must receive the highest professional services, and be cared for with the sense of responsibility and medical ethics of the Bach Mai medical team."

In addition, the Resolution also clearly states specific policies to support frontline forces such as: Ensuring income commensurate with the volume and nature of work; arranging public housing; and appropriate incentives to help cadres feel secure in their long-term work.

Regarding facilities, modern and synchronous medical equipment was also mobilized by Bach Mai Hospital to Ninh Binh, ensuring technical standards, technology and professional capacity equivalent to facility 1.

According to the plan, Bach Mai Hospital, Branch 2, will officially operate phase 1 from December 19, 2025, with all essential sections including: Medical examination, emergency, testing - paraclinical, diagnostic imaging and a system of 325 inpatient beds.

The operation of the second facility is expected to bring many practical benefits to the people of Ninh Binh and neighboring areas: No need to travel far to Hanoi; reduce costs and treatment time; access to high-quality, specialized medical services right in the locality; increase the chance of saving lives in emergency situations and serious illnesses.

With high political determination, the synchronous participation of the Party Committee, Board of Directors and more than 4,000 cadres, civil servants and employees, Bach Mai Hospital 2 in Ninh Binh is expected to soon become a high-quality medical examination and treatment center of the region, making an important contribution to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health in accordance with the orientation of the Party and State.

When put into operation, Bach Mai Hospital 2 will serve thousands of medical examinations every day, contributing to improving the medical capacity of the Red River Delta region, reducing the load on the central line and providing access to high-quality medical services for people in the southern provinces of Hanoi.
