Solidarity festival in the fruit land of Da Huoai 2

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union H'Vi EBan and leaders of Da Huoai 2 commune celebrated with the people of village 4 on the National Great Unity Day.

Attending and sharing the joy with the people were comrade H'Vi EBan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union; and representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Huoai 2 commune.

Village 4 currently has 218 households with 876 people, whose livelihoods mainly depend on agricultural production, growing specialty fruit trees such as durian, rambutan, mangosteen, jackfruit... In recent years, people have boldly changed the crop structure, replacing ineffective trees with trees of high economic value. In 2025 alone, the village converted 15 hectares to grow durian, with a yield of 14 tons/ha.

Along with economic development, the people of village 4 actively responded to the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", renovating houses, building fences, planting flowers and trees, creating a "green - clean - beautiful" landscape.

In the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", in 2025, the village had 199/202 households achieving the title of Cultural Family (98.5%), effectively maintaining 4 cultural - artistic - sports - folk dance clubs, contributing to building a rich spiritual life and connecting the community.

Education, health care and social security are regularly paid attention to. 100% of school-age children go to school; movements to encourage learning, care for poor students, and celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival for children are maintained. During the year, the village donated more than 16.9 million VND to the Fund for the Poor and nearly 16 million VND to support the people in the North who suffered damage due to storm No. 11.

Environmental protection work has been effectively implemented, with 174 households registering for waste collection (reaching 95%). People actively responded to the “Sunday for the environment” movement, contributing to keeping the rural landscape clean and beautiful.

Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Huoai 2 commune presented flowers to congratulate the people of village 4 on the occasion of the Festival Day.

Speaking at the Festival, comrade H'Vi EBan praised the outstanding achievements of cadres, party members and people of village 4 in patriotic emulation movements, especially the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province presented gifts to village 4 and 10 households in difficult circumstances; the People's Committee of Da Huoai 2 commune commended exemplary households in the movement to build cultural families.
